The Wisconsin Southeast Division, Inc. is part of the NMRA, the National Model Railroad Association. The NMRA is a non-profit educational association whose purpose is both to promote the hobby of model railroading and to help set standards within the industry. The Wisconsin Southeastern Division is a non-profit sec. 501 (c) (3) educational association whose purpose mirrors that of the NMRA.
The Wisconsin Southeastern Division membership is comprised of model railroad and railroad enthusiasts across seven counties in southeastern Wisconsin – Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Walworth, Washington and Waukesha.

Members at all levels of the Wisconsin Southeastern Division are eager to share their knowledge and friendship with our youth group to their fellow members. We have monthly meets with programs designed to bring information to members.
The Wisconsin Southeastern Division follows Standards….
At our monthly meets, the division has a newly designed popular vote contest. Generally in March, there is an Achievement Program (AP) judging. The AP program is designed to help modelers improve their skills and get more enjoyment out of their hobby. In addition, it gives recognition to those members who have displayed a high degree of skill or service to the hobby. The WISE Division has one Master Model Railroader (MMR) and that is John Tews.
The Wisconsin Southeastern Division is Trainfest…
Trainfest started in 1972 as a way to celebrate model railroading. From humble beginnings, Trainfest has grown to be the premiere Train show in the United States. Trainfest is held annually the second full weekend in November at the Wisconsin Exposition Building in West Allis, Wisconsin. Trainfest is celebrating its 40th year in 2011. Come and join in the celebration of model railroading!
The Wisconsin Southeastern Division is DVD/Video Library…
The Wisconsin Southeastern Division DVD/Video library contains approximately 250 titles that can be found on the website. The DVDs or videos can be checked out once a month at the meets. Many of the DVDs/videos are educational including many “ how-to” DVDs/videos. The Library is available to divsion members.

A bus trip to an event or show in late winter or early spring is planned. Every August, the Wisconsin Southeastern Division sponsors a rail event.
