Trainfest, America’s Largest Operating Model Railroad Show
From its modest beginning in 1972, Trainfest has become the largest operating train show in the United States. With John Tews, MMR at the helm of Trainfest, it has become the event of the year. Trainfest will celebrate its 40th year of operation in 2011. It is an exciting event for everyone and annually attracts more than 20,000 visitors.
Show highlights include operating layouts, hobby shops, displays, manufacturers and much, much more. There are approximately 1,500 exhibitors at the weekend event.
Trainfest is held the second full weekend each November at the Wisconsin Exposition Center at State Fair Park in West Allis (Milwaukee), Wisconsin.
