Fred Keller - All Aboard: Railroads of Lisbon/Sussex
Before Sussex became a village, the 36 square miles of the Town of Lisbon claimed five depots for the three railroads running through it. The major use of the railroads was to move stone and ice. Fred will show us more about life beside the iron horses from 1886-1910, and how some of the railroad track beds remain vibrant today as the Bugline Recreation Trail.
